Shea-llelagh News
3.7.07 Shea-llelagh has reconciled their differences and rebanded once more. Their world tour is set to begin with only one night in the United States: St. Patrick's Day at Long Wong's in Milwaukee, WI. Let this be a warning. After their rowdy antics, in what was supposed to be a quaint pub in Dublin, proprieter Tommy McGallahan urged city officials to seal the records from that fateful night and have asked them not to return. - The Dublin Chronicle
Shil·le·lagh [shuh-ley-lee]
A thick stick of blackthorn or oak used in Ireland, typically as a weapon.

The shillelagh should not be considered a symbol of Ireland but a badge of honor for those who carried it. When they were very young, the members of
Shea-llelagh were exposed to the traditions of the weapon, and when they came of age, to carry the stick was viewed as a passage into manhood.

Well, let's just say that the rowdy bunch, known to locals as none other than Shea-llelagh, hailing from a small town in County Wicklow Ireland, know how to handle their sticks. As young men they learned quickly to always hold the shillelagh tightly to their chest. And that's pretty much how they rock it...Shea-llelagh style.
